Providing Support Before It Starts Kindling
Have you ever felt like everything inside you was building up—stress, pressure, sadness—until it felt like you might just break? That moment, right before everything feels too overwhelming, is what I call the kindling point. It’s the point where even something small can spark a bigger emotional fire.
For many teens today, reaching that kindling point is more common than people realize. School pressure, social media, expectations from others, and even the struggle to understand your own identity can all pile up. And sometimes, it feels easier to stay silent than to speak up.
But here’s the truth: reaching your kindling point doesn’t mean you’re weak—it means you’re human.
Knowing you have options helps
Your feelings are real. Your struggles are valid. And your story isn’t over.
The kindling point doesn’t have to be where things fall apart—it can be where things begin to change. It can be the moment you decide to speak up, to ask for help, and to take the first step toward healing.

I had to deal with thoughts of suicide as a teen, my art is what helped me through it. That’s how I became Artist and now run an art gallery that provides a safe place to heal.

I went through a lot of therapy and it was a dark time for me. But the resource officer that was at the high school during that time is the reason I’m still alive today.
